Strategy Development Process
Our approach was to identify key problems in the fishery's supply and value chain. Based on these findings, we develop an initial set of five impact investment interventions. On December 2017, we presented these interventions to representatives of the fishers, government officials, and NGO, during a workshop hosted by the EDF in Valparaiso, Chile. Based on feedback from these stakeholders, we decided to move forward with the three interventions that stakeholders felt held the most promise, and which are summarized next.
For the final stage of our project, we built a bioeconomic model to conduct a quantitative analysis of these three interventions.
